Charlton have signed Portugal U21 defender Jose Semedo on a free transfer from Sporting Lisbon.
After signing French U21 captain Yassin Moutouakil last week, Addicks boss Alan Pardew has moved quickly to snap up another young defender in 22-year-old Semedo.The centre-half played in one of Portugal U21's European Championship games against Serbia and comes from a team that have produced talents such as Luis Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani.
