Charlton manager Alan Pardew is a man under pressure after Saturday's defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, but knows three points againt rivals Crystal Palace can put the Addicks right back in the promotion hunt.
After two good performances against newly promoted Doncaster and Nottingham Forest, Pardew's side showed their inconsistency once again when beaten by the Owls and the former Palace player knows the importance of victory tonight.Pardew said: "Tuesday is a huge game for Charlton - there's such a rivalry between the two clubs. After Saturday we have put pressure on ourselves and there is a lot riding on the result."
